These transitions showed that games became stories not only through cutscenes, but through worlds people could feel part of .The move from interactivity to film storytelling didn’t erase the emotion it changed its shape, It reminded players of how their actions once shaped the story and now they could just watch it unfold.

A good example is Resident Evil, what began as a survival horror game grew into a whole film series.
The story jumped between mediums and kept growing changing slightly each time, yet never losing its roots in fear and survival.

Games today are no longer only about winning or finishing levels, They are about choice identity and emotion, They ask who you want to be, not just what you want to do. The player becomes part of the story and the story becomes part of the player.

When a game turns into a film it faces the challenge of keeping the same feeling without letting the magic fade. Some succeed some don’t, But the attempt itself shows how far games have come from being just entertainment to becoming a form of storytelling, that speaks the language of emotion memory and imagination.

The journey from game to story shows how play can become meaning, how buttons and levels can turn into people and memories and how the worlds we escape into can follow us back into real life.
